Brett is one of our “original” employees. He started working for us in July of 2019, doing construction on our original Fuquay facility, before he started coaching. Brett has been doing Ninja since 2017, and he was thrilled that Caleb asked him to join the coaching staff, as Brett never had a ninja coach of his own, and wanted to make a difference for future athletes.

Brett is an incredible ninja and a great coach! He’s watched every episode of American Ninja Warrior and his dream came true when got called to compete in seasons 13 & 14 of American Ninja Warrior! In his first appearance on ANW, he was identified as “B. Strong” and a nominee for “Rookie of the Year”, for the season. In his first ANW episode, he became the shortest person ever to make it up the 18’ Megawall. He went on to qualify for the finals in Las Vegas. And, he got the Megawall again in Season 14. He was also one of 3 of Rock Solid’s coaches to finish in the top 10 in the pro division at the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA) World Finals in 2021 with teammates Josh Auer and Jeshuah Lewis. He regularly competes at a National level.

Brett’s energy and enthusiasm is contagious. He has been a big contributor to our obstacle and course designs. And, Brett is one of the hardest workers you’ll ever meet. One of his favorite things about working at Rock Solid Warrior is our competitions. He loves designing courses, working the event, and is one of our best Ninja Commentators!

For several years as a full-time college student, Brett regularly drove back to town to work Friday evenings and Saturdays, staying long after hours to do his own serious training and have courses ready for the competition team on Saturday morning.

After graduating college with a Business Management degree from Wingate University in 2023, Brett is back here full-time, coaching at various levels, and helping with our social media.

Brett has been an athlete for years. He did Karate for twelve years, Cross Country for seven years, Track and Field for 3 years, football for a year, and baseball and cheerleading in High School, as well as Ninja! Brett is energetic, persistent, and really cares for his work, his family, and his students. Brett is really proud of his younger sister, Kaelyn, who he thinks is an upcoming Ninja Prodigy!

When Brett isn’t at the gym or tackling a ninja competition somewhere else in the United States, he enjoys baseball, disc golf, singing, and can cook and bake some mean food.

Brett’s life verse is 1 Pet 4:8-9 – “Most important of all, continue to show love to one another.”
