Coach Jacob is known as our loudest, most outgoing, and most energetic coach! You always know when he’s in the building because of the joy and life he brings to our gym. Jacob was recently promoted to our Special Operations Team as a manager with the title of the “Fuquay Fun Coordinator,” and that is just who he is! Jacob is SO FUN! He’s creative, always coming up with new games, new events, and new ninja challenges. He keeps things around the gym interesting and changing all the time.
Jacob loves that he gets to use his creativity in his job, and that he also gets to work with kids to mentor them to be the best they can be as athletes. Jacob is a Golf Influencer with Professional Golf aspirations, and not only has he scored a Wilson Sponsorship, but he continues to grow his golf skills and knows how important it is to pour into younger athletes.
When Jacob isn’t on the golf course perfecting his swings, he’s working on golf content for his sponsors and his online channels, or is drawing and being artistic. Jacob has had a variety of jobs, from food service to marketing internships and positions to being a professional golf coach. His talents helped him land a job here at Rock Solid, where he has worked since August of 2023.
Besides being a pro golfer, Jacob played baseball and basketball through high school, and of course is now a ninja! Jacob is proud of his growth as a ninja, from finishing at the bottom of the pack in his first competition to getting 4th place at his last Ninja Carolina League Competition. He can also do some pretty cool ninja tricks!
Jacob has several words of encouragement for young athletes and others with big dreams:
“You are always where you are supposed to be. Remember to encourage others. And dream big! Try to fulfill your dreams. No matter what’s stopping you, keep going after it!”
Isaiah 40:31, “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”
Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.”
