Kristi started with us in April of 2024, and we quickly saw her potential for leadership and her passion to create an excellent environment for children. Kristi has worked other day camp jobs in the past, and loves the ability to work while her daughter is in school. Kristi heard about the job from her friend and co-worker, our Coach Rebecca, and we were excited it was such a great fit for us and for her!
Kristi really enjoys this job because of the hours she gets to work, and the flexibility it gives her to get her daughter from school and participate in her after-school activities. She also loves working with kids, and enjoys how the job keeps her on her toes where she is active and learning and playing new things each day.
Kristi is known as a kind, giving, and loyal person, and is also known as a great mom. She loves supporting her daughter’s softball career by attending games and helping her practice, and enjoys all sorts of crafting. She makes great crafts and activities for our camp kids!
Kristi worked in a day camp setting and as a bus driver for four years with “Performance Sports.” Prior to that, she worked for seven years as an office administrator for a car wash. She also finished a program for training in how to administer EKGs (Electro Cardio Gram).
Kristi encourages her day camp kids and others to follow the words of 1 Corinthians 16:14: “Let all that you do be done in love. Do everything in love.” She also says, “Follow the Golden Rule and treat others the way you want to be treated!”
Thank you for joining our Day Camp team, Kristi! You have been an invaluable addition to our crew!
