Sylas moved from Canada to join our team in November of 2023! He comes to us with a long list of ninja accomplishments, including placing 2nd in the UNAA (Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association) World Finals in the Amateur category, two separate top three performances in the Canadian Ninja League Finals Pro Division, and most recently was a finalist in the Ninja Sport Championship Season 3! Due to his amazing qualifications, Coach Sylas already helps us plan and coach Level 1 and Level 2 classes, Competition Clinic, Competition Team and Competition Team Junior, and helps with our adult classes. He also helps us often in our day camps, and the kids all adore him.
Sylas trained with our Elite team for a few months before he started on staff. He really loved the environment, the employees and the clients, and has always had a love for coaching. He knew that the positivity and the people were what he wanted in his life, and loved how we coached the kids and felt that it was where he could grow and learn.
Sylas comes to us with years of coaching experience under his belt. He’s coached Martial Arts for four years, Assistant Coached at a Gymnastics Club for a four-month long clinic period, and worked at Rebel Ninja Gym in Canada for four years. He’s also been competing in ninja for three years, doing martial arts for ten years, including earning his black belt, and was a gymnast advancing to Provincial Levels 3 and 4.
When Sylas isn’t coaching, competing in ninja, or doing something else athletic, he enjoys nature photography, hiking, and being with friends.
