Teen/Adult Beginner Ninja

You are never too old to start Ninja Warrior training!

Whether you were a former athlete or are starting your fitness journey and looking for a place to exercise and have fun, our ninja warrior teen and adult classes will get you started in the basic skills and conditioning you’ll need.

Our Ninja Warrior Teen and Adult classes start with warm ups and fall training for safety and injury prevention. Following this, the main class is composed of linked obstacle (courses) and strength exercises with varied structure adjusted by our coaches to keep things interesting, challenging, and fun.

For those who take to it quickly and want more instruction, we’ll provide more challenging obstacles, but for those who need a little more time, our coaches will break down obstacles to help you accomplish your goals and get stronger. Additionally some of our Pro Ninja coaches put together a “Ninja At-Home Exercises” video to provide tips and practical ways to build strength.

Ninja Fit

Ninja Fit is a fitness class for teens and adults which stretches and strengthens the muscles that are most needed (legs, core, and upper body) to take on Ninja courses. These classes incorporate a variety of ninja obstacles in many of the exercises to develop both strength and technique.

It’s never too late to get “Ninja Fit!” You might even meet our 60-year-old owner who competed in the Ninja Carolina League last season.

Intermediate Adult Ninja Class (Fuquay Only) & Advanced Teen/Adult Class (Apex Only)

Looking for a challenge and a vibrant community? Join our intermediate or advanced ninja classes! Each hour-long session kicks off with a group warm-up, before tackling the obstacles. The obstacles have been designed to be customized to your skill level so whether you just reached intermediate status or are a more advanced ninja, get ready to work up a sweat! We have a rotating format that includes stations, skills, and courses. Each month, you’ll stay engaged and be pushed to new limits.

Advanced Ninja Fit (Saturday Mornings at Apex Only)

Perfect for anyone ready to push themselves to the next level in their ninja training! This class has the usual Ninja Fit format with a mix of strength training and obstacle practice, but it is a longer class with more intense workouts and more challenging obstacles. These obstacles are focused on tech variations, body control, and learning the fundamentals of ninja. Each class finishes with an intentional 40-50 minute ninja workout. All workouts and obstacles can be adjusted to your level such as slowing down to go at your own pace or modified to challenge you more. 

Ninja Nights (Course Runs, Level 3+ or 13+)

Ready for something more advanced? If you’ve been coming to classes for a while and need something more challenging we have “Ninja Nights.” These advanced nights are composed of running challenging skill, hybrid, and endurance courses that are set up by our Pro coaches. Additionally if you are interested in starting to compete, we recommend NCL competitions which are local and beginner friendly.

A ninja warrior is an athlete who is prepared to bravely face the obstacles that life puts in their path; will not let failure get in the way of their goals and will always encourage and support others.

Nothing beats experience when it comes to growing your skills and confidence in ninja warrior obstacle courses. So while open gym time is always an option—and is important for honing your skills—classes can be invaluable for showing you how to move, hold, and progress faster and more safely.

You’ll be in good hands: we hear all the time how much energy and enthusiasm our team of ninja instructors and coaches adds to guests’ experience. That’s because each one has a personal passion for the sports and loves to share them! And all our classes are overseen by our Pro Ninja Sport veterans and other experienced trainers, to ensure top results. We also have put safety practices into our gym to ensure you stay safe and have fun!

At Rock Solid Warrior, we offer ninja warrior teen and adult classes designed for you!

The show “American Ninja Warrior” has made many wonder how they could train on obstacles like that. What you may not know is that the show has inspired a sport that has taken on a life of its own! Whether or not you ever get the opportunity to be on a show like “American Ninja Warrior”, Rock Solid Warrior is the place for you to begin.

Drop-in Information

Drop in for classes on a per-class basis, or purchase membership packages for 1 or 2 classes/week (those with memberships may add open gym time for a small add-on fee). Sign up using the button below!

Planning Your Classes & Schedules

We will typically post our schedule a month or more in advance. And though we expect each individual will pick the same day(s) each week for classes, they can also drop in on another class if they miss one.

Wondering which classes will be right for you? We can help you decide—and we evaluate each athlete each month to discuss if/when they should move to another class to be challenged more (or less). Just stop by or give us a call.
