NInja Warrior Competitions
Compete in the Fastest Growing Ninja Sport
The minute someone walks into the gym, we can see it: everyone wants to hit the buzzer. With a little ninja warrior training and practice, you can get started testing your skills in competitions and become a ninja warrior athlete!
At Rock Solid Warrior we offer beginner and advanced competitions as part of our regional Ninja Carolina League, in house competitions (such as our Ninja Kids for Safe Kids competition), UNAA competitions for those who want to work their way up to see how they can compete with others across the nation and world, as well as professional competitions as part of the Ninja Sport Championship series.
There are age divisions for everyone, starting from 6 all the way to 40+, and everything in between! Even better, you can do it without having to drive far and wide as there are five other ninja gyms all within a 1.5 hour drive of Rock Solid Warrior!
With competition comes motivation, excitement and a challenge—that’s why Rock Solid Warrior offers more competitions than your average Ninja Warrior gym. You can read more about Levels and Competitions here or watch our “Intro to the Sport of Ninja” to learn how the sport is works. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions!

Competitions for New Ninjas
Although our Ninja Carolina League is beginner friendly, we generally don’t recommend competing in it until some basic level of accomplishment in Ninja Skills are achieved. At Rock Solid Warrior, that’s typically someone who has been advancing toward or in our Level 2 classes for kids, or our Ninja Fit and Adult Classes.
The Ninja Carolina League offers both Beginner and Advanced divisions in all age divisions during its Fall/Winter season (September – January). And, during the Spring when the larger leagues offer the more experienced athletes a variety of competition opportunities, the Ninja Carolina League offers a “Beginner only” season for those newer to the sport.
However, we recognize that the word “compete”, especially in the context of a “league” might be a little intimidating. And, if someone who is pretty new to ninja, especially at a young age, tries their hand at competing with others who are more advanced than they are – even advanced beginners – it can be a bit disheartening.
For those who are a little intimidated at the idea of competing in the Ninja Carolina League beginner divisions, we’ve offered our “My First Competition Series” in the summer off season. This provides a place where everyone who has not yet competed can get a taste of what it’s like to compete, with less intimidating obstacles and less intimidating competitors.

Competitions for Experienced Ninjas
Although we love to introduce Novices to the Ninja Sport, we are also committed to taking every athlete as far as they want to go… and have taken many very far.
After developing more advanced skills, those who don’t want to travel far to compete at the next level can still find a place in the Ninja Carolina League’s advanced or even “13+ pro” division in the Fall/Winter season (September – January).
But Rock Solid Warrior is also at the forefront of the sport nationwide and beyond. For those who would like to see how they stack up to other more advanced athletes their age, we offer and encourage opportunities to climb the ladder of the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA). This league offers opportunities to qualify at the local Area level from September through March/April for Regional competitions in April-June. Those who do well in their age division in Regional Qualifers can earn a spot at UNAA World Finals in July to compete against hundreds of other qualified athletes from around the USA as well as international athletes.
The pinnacle of the sport, however, are the events sanctioned by the Ninja Sport Network. Veteran Athletes of the sport – Chris DiGangi and Ethan Swanson – founded this network in 2021 to both air and design the best competitions possible with hand-picked gyms with top-notch course designers. Rock Solid Warrior has been selected every season to host either one of their 8 Ninja Sport Championship (NSC) Qualifiers or their NSC Finals in the 13+ pro division. Unlike the larger national/international leagues, the challenge is much higher to earn one of the coveted 32 top male or female spots to earn the title of Ninja Sport Champion.
In 2025, they’ve also added the NSC Youth series that starts in March with a competitive field of 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13 year olds. Rock Solid Warrior locations have been chosen to host one of 8 Southeast Qualifiers as well as the Southeast Regional Championship after hosting one of the first two pilot NSC Youth Finals in 2024. Unlike the larger leagues where hundreds in each age group can get to their finals, the NSC Finals are truly the best of the best with only 28 athletes in each division.
