Coach Lily started as a student in one of our ninja classes! Within the first few weeks, everyone was talking about Lily and her siblings and how naturally talented they were at ninja. Lily quickly joined our competition team, and showed leadership skills throughout practices. Coach Jeshuah asked if she wanted a job with our classes and day camps, and Lily was super excited to join our team! While she’s been a ninja since September of 2022, Lily started coaching with us in December of 2023.
Lily is our “Sunny Ninja,” or our “Sunshine Ninja,” as she always brings a ray of joy, enthusiasm, and passion to her classes and her ninja training practices. Her smile lights up the kids and the coaches’ days! Lily loves working with kids, and loves ninja, and is so thankful that she can combine both of the things she loves into her job.
Lily also enjoys staying active and being outside, playing piano or violin for her youth group’s worship team, and enjoys being artistic. She does amazing face painting with the day camp kids, and enjoys ink drawing, digital art, and working with plants.
Lily is the oldest of four kids, and has always been active with them, helping them with their sports. She also played softball in the past. And she has some impressive ninja accomplishments already! Last year, her first year of competing, she placed 2nd in the 15U Advanced Category of the Ninja Carolina League Finals! She’s already moved up to the Pro Division of the Ninja Carolina League and won competitions there, too! Some of her favorite ninja obstacles are slow, difficult balance lines, and laches! She can do an 11’ lache!
