Ninja Warrior style Obstacle Course Racing
Almost everyone has seen the show "American Ninja Warrior" at least once and has wondered how to "beat that wall" and "hit the buzzer".
What many don't know is that there is a thriving sport of "Ninja Warrior" style obstacle course racing that you can train for and compete in. In fact, it is the fastest growing individual sport in the nation.
We have a huge variety of obstacles, many similar to what you've seen on the show.
Though you won't splash into a lighted pool of water, we have a lot of soft blue safety mats in case you fall.
The sport offers "speed courses", "ninja vs. ninja" courses, "endurance courses", "balance courses", "upper body courses", and "combined courses".
Our coaches have trained and competed in all of these and we can help you learn to do so, too.
We'll be offering beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses and competitions in each of these on a regular basis.
Our obstacles and courses will be changed each week.
For those who want to make this their sport, we are proud participants in the southeast division of the Athlete Warrior Games
conceived by Tyler Yamauchi (the "Muscle Ball" ninja) and others.
We'll also provide opportunities for our gym members to train for and compete in the United Ninja Athlete Association and
the National Ninja League if they so desire. Each of these "big three" leagues have their own set of rules and styles,
but the obstacles are the same and they are all working toward making obstacle course racing an olympic sport.
There are age divisions for kids as young as 6 years old, and "masters" divisions for those who might be considered past their athletic prime, and every age in between.
Rock Climbing / Bouldering
Some of the best ninjas have a rock climbing background, and some people would just rather climb rocks than do any of the other obstacles we offer.
We've reserved a significant section of our facility for "bouldering". Not just one wall, but over 1250 square feet of walls.
Climbers in southern Wake County, Johnston County, and Harnett County will no longer have to drive to Raleigh or Fayetteville to get their bouldering fix.
We'll have rock climb sections for kids as young as 5 (VB) as well as routes for the most advanced climber (V9 or higher), and routes anywhere in between!
Some of our Ninja coaches are also experienced climbers, so there will always be someone around to help you out.
But you don't have to choose between Ninja Warrior and Bouldering. Our members can go from one to the other as they choose...
And we even have some obstacles that combine the two.
